Iraq
This is a vast argument that we tend to put into three main points that counter the arguments of those who believe war was the right thing to do:
1. The government say they went into Iraq for humanitarian reasons. If this was the case, why didn't they go to Rwanda to stop the genicide, and why didn't they go to South America (on Dubya's doorstep) to stop the infanticide?
2. The government say they went into Iraq because they suspected them of possessing WMDs. If this was the case, why didn't they go into North Korea, been as there was much more evidence of their nuclear agenda than Iraq?
We strongly opposed the Iraq war consistently, whereas the Conservatives had no idea whether they were coming or going.

ID Cards
We oppose ID cards because they trample on civil liberties without being much use themselves. Even Charles Clarke has admitted that they would not have prevented the London bombings, and they did not stop the Madrid bombings. We would rather see £6bn of our taxpayers' money going towards more intelligence and police to prevent such terrorist acts ever happening again.
