About us
The USSU Lib Dem Society and Guildford LDYS currently operate as one branch, however, with a different democratic structure. As only students in the University can officially join a USSU society and vote on society matters, the LDYS group is there for those people to have a voice. Anybody may vote and join in with Guildford LDYS activities, and the Lib Dem Soc events are run concurrently with the LDYS events to ensure that the group as a whole is very inclusive.
We meet once a week on Wednesdays (venue for 2005-2006 to be confirmed), and have many social events throughout the year.
